Routine is great, but it is so easy to get lost in it. Sometimes every day of the week seems to be exactly the same: Get up early, prepare breakfast, go to work, have lunch, go home, exercise, eat dinner, Netflix and chill. This does not sound like a bad day, but also not very exciting, right? Here are three things you can do to get out of your everyday routine and bring some new vibes into your daily grind.

Eat all the food…

and by that I mean think about what you are craving for weeks and just get it. Do not feel guilty and just enjoy- take your time and do not have it on your desk while working. Sometimes it seems like there is just no time for a lunch break, but trust me, taking time away from your computer can be not only good for yourself but also for your productivity, you will work a lot more efficient afterward.

Say Yes…

to something, you would actually cancel. Be it an invitation to a dinner party on a Tuesday night or joining your best friend’s weekly spinning class she is so obsessed with. Trying out things we would originally not even consider doing makes us step out of our comfort zones and as we all know- this is where the magic happens!

Let go and accept…

brooding can be very exhausting. Sometimes our mind is so busy that it feels like running a marathon, even if all you are doing is sitting on the couch and think about things you can not change. Let go of your mum’s mean comment, your extensive to-do list for the next day or of the thoughts about your ex-boyfriend’s latest chick. Just accept that there are things that are beyond your reach and concentrate on the here and now and your well-being!
